Privacy policy

What rippd is

rippd is a personal fitness app: an AI coach, a food and macro log, a lifting log, and weight tracking. It is operated by Guy Dahan, an individual developer, not a company with a data business. We collect the minimum needed to run the app, and nothing else.

What we collect

• Account basics — your name, email address and profile picture, provided by Google or Apple when you sign in. We never see your password.
• What you log — meals, estimated macros, body weight, workouts, sets and weights, rest and session times, and your goals and schedule.
• Coach conversations — messages you send to the in-app Coach, kept so the Coach has context.

We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or anything from other apps. There are no ads and no analytics trackers.

AI processing

When you describe a meal (or send a photo of one) and when you chat with the Coach, that content is sent to an AI provider (Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude) to produce the estimate or reply. Only the content needed for the request is sent — never your email or account identity. AI providers process this data under their API terms and do not use it to train their models.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Neon) and served through Vercel, encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Each account's data is private to that account. We never sell or share your data with anyone.

Deleting your data

Email guydaane@gmail.com from your account's address and every record tied to your account — logs, workouts, conversations, the account itself — will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Children

rippd is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
